With the developing of reform and opening, the Chinese manufacturing industry is rapidly developing after China joined WTO(World Trade Organization).Many economic scholars think that in 21st century China will become the world factory and world manufacturing site. However, to make"the world processing base"become"the world factory"and"a powerful Manufacturing Country", there is still a long way to go for China. With the advantage of labor costs gradually reduced, the competitive ability of business enterprise is more and more depending on the effective management strategy,mode and method.The thesis studies on several problems of production process of Dequan Company, trying to find out and solving the problems of high production costs, unreasonable production schedule and warehouse layout. First, the thesis generally introduces the study significance and the situation of spot management, production scheduling and warehouse layout at home and abroad, to form the theoretic foundation for the following research. Second, the thesis introduces the background and state of enterprise, analyzes the existing shortage aspect in the spot management,production scheduling and warehouse layout,according to the characteristics of cable manufacturing enterprise. These problems include the bad environment on the spot,the severe material wastes,the insufficient understanding of the bottleneck, unreasonable material warehouse layout and massive raw material piled up the production spot. Finally ,for these problems, the article puts forward a solution ducting into 5S spot management and building up valid performance evaluation mechanism resolving the problem of the spot management;adopting theory of constraints management method to strengthen production scheduling; analyzing the transaction of the warehouse using EIQ method to provide the basis for the new layout of the warehouse. I hope it will be useful to the company.
