Bonded warehousing management is to maximize the economic benefits of limited warehousing resources by improving service levels,reducing operating links,improving operating efficiency,and reducing operating costs under the premise of ensuring effective customs supervision.With the increasing scope and scale of global trade and the rapid development of information technology,as a bridge and link linking international and domestic supply chains,bonded warehousing business is also developing unprecedentedly.The intensified competition in the industry forces bonded warehousing companies to continue improve its own service level,and pay more attention to operating efficiency,operating costs and customer experience.The research object of this paper,YM Logistics Company,is a third-party bonded warehousing company specializing in the operation of bonded logistics centers(Type B).With the gradual expansion of its warehousing business volume and business types,the traditional extensive warehouse management methods can no longer adapt to customers the timeliness and accuracy of operations are required,so by applying modern warehouse management concepts and methods to seek solutions to the ever-increasing bonded warehouse management problems.Through on-the-spot research and follow-up operations,this article comprehensively sorts out the current situation of YM Logistics Company’s warehouse management,applies ASME process analysis methods and other analysis methods,and combines customs supervision requirements and company operating practices to find out the causes of problems in YM Logistics Company’s bonded warehouse management.Specifically: First,the degree of warehousing informatization is low,the utilization rate of data information resources is low,there are many manual operations,and the efficiency of information transmission is low;the second is the lack of standardized operation procedures,unscientific warehousing operation procedures,lack of modern technical support,and lack of rules for the entry and exit of goods,etc.;the third is the lack of planning for the layout of the storage space,the warehouse area planning is unclear,the storage space is not clearly divided,and the utilization rate of the storage capacity is low;the fourth is the insufficient management of the storage personnel,the storage personnel are not professional,the job responsibilities are not clear,and the work enthusiasm is not high.In response to the above problems,this paper also gives targeted optimization countermeasures,specifically: First,build a bonded warehousing information system,introduce WMS warehouse management system to integrate existing information resources,introduce material identification technology and intelligent warehousing strategy,design seven the large management module optimizes the overall work energy efficiency;the second is to establish a standardized bonded warehousing operation process,clarify work responsibilities and division of labor,refine,quantify,and simplify each operation link,and effectively connect each link to ensure that the entire warehousing operation process is efficient and accurate,and orderly;the third is to optimize the warehouse layout,divide the warehouse into nine functional areas,introduce shelves and divide the cargo space,and achieve the purpose of improving storage capacity utilization and operation efficiency;the fourth is to improve the management level of bonded warehouse personnel and apply Herzberg Based on the two-factor theory,employees’ sense of belonging and enthusiasm for work can be improved and professional skills can be improved by improving the employee security system,strengthening performance management,and carrying out professional skills training.
