A Study On Concurrent Engineering Management Based On Network Organization

In order to deal with keen market competition, Concurrent Engineering as a new pattern of product development emerged. The implementation of Concurrent Engineering can accelerate the process of product development, improve the quality of products and reduce the cost of the enterprise. Because the structure of traditional organization can't adapt the needs of Concurrent Engineering, seeking more flexible organization structure becomes the key problem of the successful implementation of Concurrent Engineering. Network Organization as a new type of organization using information superhighway, increase the reaction ability of the organization greatly. Network Organization can support the quickly transmition of information and the cooperation of different functional department. It can provide wider development space for the advantage elaborating of Concurrent Engineering.Firstly, the paper puts forward the assumption of implementing Concurrent Engineering on Network Organization platform based on characteristic analysis of Network Organization and Concurrent Engineering.Then the paper explores the key techniques and the details of managemet of implementing Concurrent Engineering on Network Organization platform. At last, the paper takes a project of mold development as analyzed example.
