Study On Cost Management Of Construction Engineering Projects And Its Support System

With the rapid development of economy, there is large demand of construction projects. However, the construction enterprises are confused with the drop of profit margin because of the intense competition. Facing this situation, the only useful way is to enhance the cost management of construction enterprises. So, it's more and more important to research and practice on the cost management of construction engineering project.In this paper, the cost management of the construction engineering projects is regarded as the objects. On the basis of the earnest inquisition and collecting information from abroad to foreign, this paper studies the present condition of Chinese engineering project cost management, analyzes the reasons for the existed problems, and summarizes the content and some useful methods of the cost management of engineering projects. To make it more practicable, the paper also builds a web based cost management information system for Z Company. The study result has the positive meaning to improve the cost management level, the profit margin and Competitiveness of construction enterprises.The contents of this paper are as followings. Firstly, this paper reviews related literatures in this area, and make an overview of the content of this paper. Secondly, this paper gives a comprehensive description of the meaning, the features, and some basis of cost management of engineering projects; it also analyzes the situation and problems of our construction enterprises, shows the trend of cost management. Thirdly, this paper gives the main content and method of cost management of engineering projects.According to the practice, there are some noteworthy places in every management steps. Then according to the above, the paper gives the realization of its support system, a web based cost management system of Z Company. Finally, this paper gives conclusions and puts forward some advices for the further research.
