Study On Construction Cost Control Of Jamaica North South Highway Project

Since September 2013 the general secretary Xi Jinping put forward the strategy of "The Belt and Road",the number of China's "going out" for the construction of the international engineering project of enterprise and the contract amount is increasing year by year.With the competition of the international building market is becoming increasingly fierce,the international engineering project cost control management is decided whether the enterprise profits in the fierce international engineering market,the formation of the key content to long-term sustainable development.In this thesis,the international bridge project as the research object,the cost control of construction stage as the focus of the study,first introduces the research background and significance,summarizes the process of cost control at home and abroad the development and research status.The thesis describes the concept,content and influence factors of international road and bridge engineering project cost control.According to the real construction case of the north and south of the Jamaica expressway project,from four aspects of mechanical cost,material cost,labor cost and construction schedule,etc.,through the use of project cost analysis,data comparison method,earned value analysis method,analyze the problems and causes of the implementation and management of the project cost control,combined with the actual Jamaica bridge project put forward the effective cost control measures.Finally,the effectiveness of the research is verified by empirical analysis,and the shortcomings of this study are pointed out.The discussion of this thesis can make the practitioners of construction enterprises realize the importance and necessity of cost control in construction stage.This paper established a construction cost control framework,found the problem and put forward some feasible countermeasures to improve the international cost control,project profit has some relevance,and to provide some reference for the construction business is "going out" of Chinese enterprises in Jamaica area.
