Study On Coordination Appraisal Of The Urban Living Environment And State Of Economy Development In Chengdu

With the constant enlargement of the city size in recent years, the urban problems have been emerging constantly. The leading-off and lagging-behind phenomenon between development of the urban living environment and economic development appears in the process of urbanization, which have brought the negative effect to sustainable development of the city in China. So in order to realize the sustainable development of the city, the relation between the living environment and economic construction should be coordinated well.But how to judge whether the living environment system and economic system coordinate well in a certain area? How is coordinate degree? If coordination exists, which kinds of measure should be taken to solve the problems?This dissertation takes Chengdu as an example to carry on preliminary appraisal research to the urban living environment and economic state of development of coordination in Chengdu from 1995 to 2004 based on background above.It analyzes the basic theories coordination development through examining coordination, the functions of coordination and coordination system, and structures an index system about city live environment and economy based on data and documents. Then comprehensive appraisal index of urban living environment and economic system in Chengdu city is structured through functional relation and main composition analytic approach. The coordination degree between city living environment and economic system from 1995 to 2004 is worked out and graded on the basis of coordination degree model.The study outcome indicates that the urban living environment and economic development of Chengdu have kept coordinating basically since middle period of the 1990s, and the coordination degree curves is rising steadily. Living environment lags behind economic development except that the urban living environment and economy kept developing in step in 1995. So the urban living environment of Chengdu is in a good state of coordination, that is to say, economy development living environment coordinate well at present in Chengdu.Finally, the dissertation puts forward the measures of promoting the urban living environment of Chengdu to coordinate with economy in harmony from two respects of living environment and economic development.The characteristics of this text lie in: firstly, the coordination state of economy development and the urban living environment of Chengdu have been judged for the first time. Secondly, the problem that development strategy can not be calculated has been solved by pluralism method and the validity of appraising the result has been improved.Finally the method of combination of quantitative analysis with qualitative analysis in is applied in the result analysis.
