Following the prosperous development of rural tourism, the rural family inn,a newly emerging thing in China, is also booming now. As the rural family innsdevelop swiftly, more and more problems in its management arose, especially inits marketing. For instance, because of lack of suitable marketing mode, lowefficiency of marketing, shortage of customer and lack of market impetus topromote further development etc, which exist widely in the industry. Taking therural family inns in Yangshuo County as the main study object, this paper triesto find an appropriate marketing mode for Yangshuo's family inn market, andfurthermore, gives some advices to the sustainable development of Chinese ruralfamily inn.First, the author gets a fully understanding of the rural family inn'smarketing reality in Yangshuo by a thorough investigation, and then, in order tosummarize the rules from it, the author studies and analyses both efficiency andinefficiency of management and marketing in different inns of different levels.Second, from both macro-micro levels, the paper analyses how to take the existing advantages to carry out marketing object in Yangshuo according to itsown market target and customer demand. At last, the paper gives a newmarketing notion and the SIRF marketing mode to the rural family inns ofYangshuo. Then, it suggests a systematized marketing combination strategy (4P)of marketing, which is practical for Yangshuo family inn market and othersimilar markets in other areas of China as well.
