After the concept of executive being introduced to our country, it had received the great attention of the business circles and theory circles rapidly. In order to let the research realize localization, theory circle and business circles have made a deep analysis to the executive problem. With the in-deep study, the researchers find that middle-level managers are a bridge in the organization. Middle-level managers are both the manager and executor, are the important practitioner to organization's information and strategy. They are the key to improve executive ability. So, in order to do further research, the executive ability of middle-level managers becomes a focus for the business circles and theory circle. Whether it can do effectively not only determines the layer's executive ability, but also determines the organization's executive, even determines the organization's existence and lasting development capacity.From the system theory, this research analyzes the main variables to middle-level managers' executive ability, including organization variable, personnel variable, culture variable and the variable of professional manager market, then construct out the influence system of the executive ability of middle-level managers tentatively. On this basis, the research analyzes every variable which influences the executive ability of middle-level managers. Through the analysis of the question, we point out the method and the direction to improve the problem.This dissertation is divided into five sections. The first section is introduction, making a description on the related researches around the world and illuminating the background and significance of this paper; finally, this section introduces the thinking and research approach of this paper.The second section sums up the influence variables of the executive ability of middle-level managers. In order to get the firsthand materials about these influence variables, we consult the literature, collect domestic and international relevant research and clauses appearing in the report, through analyzing, sorting out and screening, design the informal questionnaire; then with some middle-level managers' opinions, we design the formal questionnaire. The formal questionnaire is divided into two parts: part one is 13 variables which may influence the executive ability of middle-level managers; in order to understand every factor deeply, part two is factors of every variable which are used to explain part one.
