E The Comparison Between The Application Of EAM And ERP In Power Plant

Along with the power system reformation and management level enhancing, power plant is eager to find an adaptive information system which can enhance the business efficiency and decrease product cost of the plant. The purpose of this paper is comparing the application of the EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) and ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning) system in power plant and conducting an information system election model.This paper presents the characteristic of management and product method of power plant, then gives a suggestion that EAM system is an adaptive information system for power plant. The paper also analyses the function model and characteristic of EAM, and compares EAM system with ERP system which has been applied in many branches. After the analysis, the paper concludes that the EAM system is the right adaptive system for power plant and is capable of enhancing the management efficiency. This paper conducts an information system election model which especially fits power plant through the AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) and Delphi method. A case example is quoted to illustrate the EAM system selection and application in power plant at the end.This paper presents the comparison through qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, and conducts an information system election model through the AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) and Delphi method.
