The Appliance Study Of ERP Rapid Implementation Methodology For Small & Medium Enterprises

In modern society, information technology becomes very important assistant tools to improve management ability and efficiency. In China, ERP has achieved quiet great progress in resent years and become the emphases of information technology application for Chinese enterprises.Small and medium enterprises have now become the very important component of our marketing economy. In China, information technology application can't be only for few huge enterprises and must rely on multitudinous small and medium enterprises. The implementation of ERP system for small and medium enterprises also has problems of endless periods and very low rate of success. So reasonable and operable implementation methodology is deeply needed for small and medium enterprises.Now the ERP software providers and consulting companies or some experts have put forward their own methodology, but actual application rate is low and the application effect is not satisfying. These research mainly focused on the description of application process and there is little discussion about the whole ERP implementation framework. They also ignored using a systematic methodology and considering the implementation from the angle of needs of small and medium enterprises. Therefore, the paper sets up the ERP rapid implementation methodology based on needs of small and medium enterprises.Firstly, the paper analyzed the actual implementing problems and research literatures summarize to sum up the advantages and disadvantages of existing methodology. And based on this, the paper put forward the DBIM model.Secondly, the DBIM model was detailedly analyzed. There are four chapters which separately analyzed the needs characteristic of small and medium enterprises, and put forward the five important tactics and principles from tactic level, and analyzed the phrases and mission from the courses lever, and analyzed the guarantee and tools from the guarantee level for small and medium enterprises' rapid implementation of ERP.In the end, the DBIM model was approved its availability and usability by applying it into an actual case. Further problems about actual application of methodology were explained and further research contents were also put forward about ERP implementation methodology.
