In recent years, more and more multinational companies set lower costs and higher efficiency as their management target to survive the contemporary markets characterized by 3Cs. The old management style may not suit modern organizations with many possible adverse impact in this customer and information driven business environment. Thus organizations need critically to reengineer their entire business processes using information technology.The current research on BPR theories and applications are now centered on the following key issues: the deeper insights into business process, the drawbacks in the existing business process in the organization, how to analyze and reconstruct the key business process, the implementation of the reengineered business process to the organization, the link between BPR and corporate strategy, how to reengineer business process and implement it within the corporate strategy boundary, whether BRP can bring significant performance improvement for the organization, how to evaluate the BRP effect on organization performance, etc.This paper reviews the history of BPR, the main principle involved, the methodology and performance evaluation. Based on the previous analysis, this paper further proposes the performance evaluation system for BPR and apply fuzzy logic theory during calculation process. Thus this paper would analyze the direct and indirect impact of BRP implantation on organization performance. Empirical studies of the proposed methodology have been conducted in Hunan Xiangzhu chemical industries Co. Ltd. over three years period. The proposed model has been applied to evaluate organization performance. Xiangzhu chemical industries Co. Ltd has demonstrates increased speed of response to market changes after BPR implementation.
