Study On Community Participation In Tourism Development And Resident Perception For Tourism Impact

Tourism industry has been a new economic growth point in minority areas, which arouse a deep debate. Anthropologists focus on the cultural impact of society to the tourist destinations, including the major subjects of the destinations'community -Local resident's feeling, since that the real tourism development of destination is often overlooked participation of local community's residents. This led to many conflicts and problems, and the community's participation will be an important way to settle the conflicts in tourism development. Emphasis of the community participation indicates People-oriented development vision, which is the same opinion as development anthropology. To achieve the effective community participation, it must be based on tourism impact survey of local residents.By Dongxing City, Guangxi, Wan Wei village for the investigation points, through participant observation, deep interviews and other anthropological methods ,this paper try to survey and analyses in the tourism development history and community participation's history and manner of Wan Wei Village and also economic, environment , social and cultural impact to local resident , and finally summarize its problem in community participate tourism development, and think on this basis, the relationship between local residents perceptions and community participation in tourism development.
