With the expedited step of globalization of economy, logistics has been developing rapidly around the world as burgeoning industry in the national economy. The importance of modern logistics in the economic development is gradually known by our people, and the logistics industry in our country is in a period of rapid development. Aiming to help improve efficiency, control cost, and fit customers'needs, modern logistics tend to be more and more information-based, network-based, intelligentized, flexible, standard and socialized. Among those features of modern logistics, informationization is the core. Only if informationization is realized, network-based operation, systematism and flexibility can be achieved, and thereby logistics companies can improve efficiency to provide best-class service to the customer.According to statistic in developed countries, the history of modernlogistics is just a history of gradually percentage decrease for stock cost in wholelogistic cost. Thus it can be seen that stock management acts as a core role in logistic management.This project will concentrate mainly in stock management, design and realize details of stock management.This project will bring great significance for logistic managers to utilize information and network for modern logistics.
