The Research Of Agricultural Products Cold Chain Logistics Based On Lean Thinking

With the development of logistics industry and the improvement of living standard, people's consumption concept tend to become more diverse and they are in favor of fast and convenient consumption, the demand for some fresh food such as fresh fruits, vegetables and milk is becoming higher and higher year by year. Minor batches, variety and high-preservation have been the main characteristies of dairy product cold chain logistics. This means higher requirements for cold chain logistics. However, for a combination of reasons, the agriculture cold chain develops very slowly in China and agriculture products suffers a great loss in quantity and quality in the course of agricultural cold chain. Fortunately, lean thinking takes "eliminate wastes and reduce cost" as its core, this is exactly that we are leading to the key of the agricultural cold chain logistics in China. Using lean thinking as the theoretical basis, we analyze the inventory, production, distribution and quality management of agricultural products cold chain logistics, to build a lean cold chain with more efficient, higher profits, and it brings a new direction to the development of agricultural products cold chain logistics.Lean thinking has been greatly expanded in the field of logistics and promoted the development of logistics industry. Based on it, the paper analyzes the development of agricultural cold chain logistics by use of lean thinking. The paper first summarizes the features and issues in agricultural product cold chain logistics, introduces the connotation of lean thinking and its development process and application. Then creatively use the value flow analysis tool in the leam thinking--value stream mapping to analyze the agricultural cold chain logistics, and do the detailed description by the specific case, while build lean cold chain for agricultural products. Here, the focus of this paper is to use flowchart analysis and value flow analysis of lean thinking, which points out that consumers, enterprises and government urgently need for agricultural cold chain, and from inventory, production, distribution, quality management to solve this problem. Finally, the paper puts out some measures and advices in order to accelerate the rapid progress for agricultural cold chain logistics, and this also gives a study direction for further research.
