Weifang Engineering Consulting Institute Ltd by the consulting engineering re-formed after hospital restructuring is an Engineering Consulting which mainly engaged in engineering consulting business, and in environmental impact assessment, rational use of energye valuation,bidding and other professional engineering advices and services. With the economic and social development and the deepening of the investment and financing system reform, engineering consulting industry has been rapid development, and, with the completion of the Reorganization of public institutions and the relaxation of the engineering consulting qualification approval criteria, engineering consulting industry become increasingly competitive. Therefore, the "How to deal with the complex and volatile external environment,and to explore a clear idea of the development "as a new subject raised.This article on the basis of the depth research on Weifang Engineering Consulting Institute Ltd., first, combination of company status analysis the company's external environment and internal environment and use the external factor evaluation (EFE) matrix method and the internal factor evaluation (IFE) matrix for their comprehensive evaluation, respectively. Secondly, we can use the SWOT analysis to demonstrate, evaluate and select strategic options, and determine the competition strategy which mainly to market penetration and part time alienation. Finally, from the organization, human resources, practice brand and marketing strategy recommendations in four areas to ensure the successful implementation of competitive strategy.In this paper, through the systematic and objective analysis the engineering consulting units environment facing and all kinds of resources and capabilities of Weifang Engineering Consulting Institute Ltd, and discuss the competitive strategy adopted by the Weifang Engineering Consulting Institute Ltd, and while seeking the path of development for the Engineering Consulting units in order to offer some reference value for the facing restructuring or other restructuring of the project has been consulting units.
