With the continuous increase in the scale of investment in fixed assets at all levels,the total market of the engineering consulting industry will continue to increase,and the engineering consulting industry has good market prospects and development potential.However,with the rapid transformation of the economy and society and the continuous deepening of economic reforms,most engineering consulting companies will face huge changes and severe tests.This paper takes MS Engineering Consulting Company as the research and analysis object,analyzes and judges the external macro environment and industry environment of the company,and combines the existing resources inside the company to conduct further analysis,summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of MS Engineering Consulting Company and the opportunities and threats it faces.At the same time,based on the guidance of strategic management theory,this paper uses the tools such as the Porter Five Forces Model,PEST Model,SWOT Model,Internal Factor Evaluation Matrix,External Factor Evaluation Matrix,and Value Chain Analysis Model,determine the competitive strategy suitable for the current development status of MS Engineering Consulting Company is a differentiation strategy.It is clear that the approach of the MS Engineering Consulting Company to implement the differentiation strategy is mainly to build product differentiation,service differentiation,brand differentiation,and technological innovation.In order to ensure the smooth implementation of the differentiation strategy,MS Engineering Consulting Company has established a relatively comprehensive guarantee system in terms of outstanding talent reserves,project development processes,and employee training to improve corporate competitiveness.Many scholars at home and abroad have conducted in-depth and extensive analysis and research on the survival and development of various types of enterprises from the perspective of corporate competition strategies,but the research on the competition strategies of engineering consulting companies is relatively lacking.Based on the analysis of the development status of China's engineering consulting industry,this paper takes MS Engineering Consulting Company as the research object,and discusses the reasons for the lack of competition strategies in engineering consulting enterprises and proposes countermeasures.It is hopes that by studying the competition strategy of MS Engineering Consulting Company,it can help enterprises to formulate a reasonable competition strategy,and at the same time,it can provide some reference for similar problems of other companies in the same industry.
