The Study Of Leguminosae Plant On The West Kunlun Mountain In Xinjiang

The West Kunlun Mountains of Xinjiang, lying in the border between Xinjiang and Tibet, borders upon the Pamir in the northwest, the Karakoram in the southwest, the Middle Kunlun Mountains in the east, the Tarim Basin in the north and the northern Tibetan Plateau in the south. The research focuses of this paper are Shache County and Xincheng County of Kashi area, Southern Xinjiang as well as the northern part of the West Kunlun Mountains, which lies in the south of Pishan, Hetian, Cele, Yutian and Minfeng. This article makes systematic morphological taxonomy research on leguminous plants of these areas. Based on the diversity of species of these areas which includes the analysis on costitute of genus and species, life form, characteristics of floral region and its similarity with its adjacent areas, this article classifies and evaluates the resources of these areas. And the research shows that:About 7 tribe,12 genera,67 species,1 subspecies and 2 varieties. Genera accounting for 25.53%,species accounting for 15.51%. Among them,11 new record species in the West Kunlun Mountain in Xinjiang.The single genera which have 6 species and fewer genera which have 6 species is large proportion of flora of the area Leguminous,10 genera accounting for 83.33%,but only 20 species accounting for 29.85%;Divers genera witch contain 2 genera(Oxytropis, Astragalus) 47 species is in ascendant of Leguminous in this area, accounting for 16.67% of total genera and 70.15% of total species.The life form are dominated by Hemicryptophyt in the West Kunlun Mountain in Xinjiang,species accounting for82.09%.It shows that perennial herb plants are more adapt to the cold dry and windy,high altitude environment, it also reflected the characteristics of the area belongs to the temperate regions.Other therophyte species accounting for 6,chamaephyt species accounting for 3 and phaeneraphytes species accounting for 3 are totally 12 species accounting for 17.09% and there is a certain adaptability.The similarity coefficient of the West Kunlun Mountain in Xinjiang and the Pamir of china is 73.33%,and The similarity coefficient of the West Kunlun Mountain in Xinjiang and the Karakorum mountains in china is 35.71%.Many species of Leguminosae plant in this area had great development potential and research meaning in medicine、feeding and nodule bacteria.
