Since the modern industrial civilization, the rapid development of technology has greatly promoted the development and production of human footprints social progress, technology has penetrated into every field, but also a real impact on people’s daily lives. Technology was originally used as a means to serve the people, and people enjoy material life brings technical evolution, but ignored the spirit of freedom. Excessive consumption of contemporary people in order to satisfy their desire for material produced by "technology" of people enslaved by technology, Marcuse called this man one-dimensional person.Technical alienation as footprint technology covered every area, affecting human thought and freedom. Because of the design is the coupling body technology and art,it can not be completely divorced from the technology exists, technological alienation tendency certainly will hinder the development of design education. Universities for curriculum coordination, mostly professional skills courses and cultural studies, setting small, makes a single course of student learning. Coupled with design education affected the market mechanism, it allows students to chase utilitarian values, completely reduced to a one-way thinking of people. And colleges and universities has become a factory, mass production tools people. From the technology as a starting point, the first concept art, history and technology development concept of alienation, the performance characteristics of a certain degree of understanding, to correctly understand the relationship between technology and technical alienation; and then talk to the alienation of contemporary design education from a technical point of view The impact is reflected, and alienation from scholars of different technical analysis techniques to examine the root causes of alienation, and finally put forward a way of design education in digestion technology alienation tendencies.
