The automobile electrification was considered to be a revolution in automobile technological development. We can install some equipment on the automobile to improve the automobile's function. The visible reversing radar alert system applies the ultrasonic distance measuring and the display on TFT_LCD screen technology in the automobile electron research. It not only promotes automobile intellectualized, but also reduces the accident cause by the bad back-sight during the reversing time. It is significance to apply in the slap-up automobile.This paper introduces one visible reversing radar alert system. The system can inform the driver the obstacles around by audio and video display. Used ultrasonic distance measurement principle and video character on screen display principle, this system can drive TFT_LCD screen shows distance characters and vehicles from the scene after the tail. Paper outlines the development of reversing radar system. It introduces the ultrasonic distance measurement and video character on screen display principle. Based this principle, the overall composition of the system is proposed. It is made up of the ultrasonic ranging circuit, controller, TFT_LCD display, voice alarms.Using the method of ultrasonic distance measurement, this paper designs ultrasonic distance measurement module. In order to reduce the number of probes, the system selected transceiver probe, using time-division multiplexing works, which is also called each probe works staggered times, each one ranging cycle alone, this method avoiding the mistake to receive echo signal which resulting in an error ranging. In order to ensure that the center frequency matched with the ultrasonic probe center frequency, this paper also make simulation to band-pass enlarge filter to analyze its input-output response and frequency response; Using OSD(on screen display) method, this paper designs ranging character and the video image display on TFT_LCD screen module. The video image display circuit including the display driver as well as the character display circuit. For the bad working conditions of the system, this paper used some anti-jamming design of hardware.This system is functionalized by software programming. The software design includes distance measuring design and video display driver design. The system used instruction redundancy technology, software trap technology, "watchdog" technology and digital filters and other method to optimize the software to calibrate the distance ranging, as well as advance system reliability and measurement accuracy.Finally, we made some experiments with the whole system to detect ranging and video display function. Experiments show that the system is working correctly, and various technical indicators have reached the design requirements.
