Campus Information Resources Integration Research Based On The Grid Technology

Nowadays, The Grid becomes an important information technology in the world, which aims to realize high performance resource sharing or cooperation and eliminate information and Resource Island. The Grid not merely ofers the environment of utilizing the strong computer to solve the enormous challenge problem, but also akind of foundation which organizes the remote resource and equipment distributed inall parts into a united whole.Database application development has been a considerable number of enterprises and institutions that have accumulated large amounts of different forms of storage, dependent on different computer platforms, operate systems and database management systems data. How to integrate these heterogeneous database management system, seamlessly between its to achieve the combination of data exchanging and sharing and to improve the utilization of data has become the pressing business problems.In this paper, first introduced the concept of grid, characteristics and objectives, then introduced Web services technology, Web services and grid services, and then introduced the Grid architecture, and XML-related technologies, database systems related concepts and technologies. By analyzing several existing integration technologies: CORBA, COM / DCOM, JAVA RMI / EJB, WEB SERVICES grid technology and the advantages and disadvantages of its, then got a framework of based on grid integration of heterogeneous database. Subsequently given relational database model and the mapping between OWL ontology and rules generated by the user requests database standard operating language algorithm. According to the integration idea, through the definition of grid service interface, packaging, publishing, call grid services, integrate various heterogeneous database resources, Grid users are free to understand the details of heterogeneous databases through the use of grid services database. Finally, The program not only eliminates the use of grid technology for heterogeneous database system and has a good platform independence and portability, can solve heterogeneous database of information brought about by the island phenomenon, improve data utilization, integration of information.
