With the informatization of higher education, the teaching reform is greatly promoted by the information technology. Joined with the network and computer technology, the speed of knowledge updating is being greatly enhanced, the constraints of education environment which caused by the space and the time is being broke, the traditional teaching mode, teaching contents and teaching methods are being rapidly changed, even the teaching thinking, teaching theory and teaching system also have a profound change. In the current university, Microelectronics Process is a specialized required course to the Electronic Science and Technology students. To enhance the teaching efficiency, a new teaching model must be explored.The paper is based on the results of existing research at home and abroad. First of all, by the forms of questionnaire and interview, the main facters which impacted the traditional course teaching are analysized and summarized from three aspects of classroom teaching, online teaching and practice teaching. Secondly, according to the findings of the previous, the Mixed-dimensional teaching model is presented based on the relevant theory, and the model's meaning, system, and the teaching process is elaborated; Thirdly, under the guidance of the Mixed-dimensional teaching model, the teaching resource base is designed and producted, the design principles, the main teaching content and the corresponding media selection are analyzed and ordered; Finally, in accordance with the requirements of the teaching outline, the typical bilingual teaching case-"lithography" which is selected from the nine chapters in the textbook is designed and implemented from three aspects, the blended classroom instruction, the opened self-directed/collaborative learning and the stereoscopic practice teaching. In the teaching practice, a series of works that from the teaching goals to the teaching evaluation are completed.The research provided some experiences for the comprehensive teaching reform and promoted the wide application of information technology in higher education.
