Research And Application Of GPRS In Monitoring And Management Information System Of Electricity Distribution Network

With the development of the information technology and computer network, the scale, quality, network reliability, operation level of common communication network all have got enormous rise. Applying the GPRS in remote monitoring system of electricity distribution network, it resolves the communication network problem. The system has been realized and run, the effect is good, and ensures the economy, reliability and the real-time trait of the system.By introducing the GPRS and Internet network system, this paper put forward a kind of remote monitoring system of electricity distribution network on the basis of GPRS. This system is made up of four parts: data gathering, data communication, data processing analysis and monitoring. By analyzing the characteristics of the GPRS communication, this paper put forward a communication protocol to process data, and validates the reasonability of the communication protocol with practical data.
