The radio frequency identification technology is a wireless non-contactautomatic identification technology. It is on the rise in recent years. The purposeof non-contact information delivery can be achieved by transmittingelectromagnetic energy through space. In China RFID technology is still in itsinfancy, especially core technology of this band rarely own property rights.Nowadays, most of the UHF RFID readers on markets are designed usingseparation device, component number need more, bulky and power is bigger, notsuitable for portable requirements. And the stability and reliability needs to beimproved. The UHF reader explores really worth the relevant technical staff.Therefore, how to design a well cost-effective UHF RFID reader to meet themarket demand is really an issue worth exploring. At the same time, as a wirelesscommunication technology, RFID inevitably faces the multiple access problem.The anti-collision technology have direct and great influence on the performanceof the system efficiency and practicality.To solve the above problem, the UHF RFID technology is studied in-depthin this paper, as well as the theoretical analysis of the UHF RFID readerhardware architecture. The design scheme of a miniaturized UHF RFID reader isproposed, the digital baseband circuit part is designed based on microcontrollerdesign and the RF front-end UHF signal processing and transceiver part isdesigned based on AS3992of the Austria micro systems. Using C8051F340microcontroller as controller, power consumption is low and it has fast dataprocessing capability. In this paper, the operating frequency is designed to9l5MHz. ISO18000-6C protocol standards and tag stocktaking process are fullyanalyzed, and anti-collision algorithm based on ALOHA mechanism has beenimproved, and All Grouping Unequal Slot DFSA Algorithm is proposed,simulation and verification. In terms of software, bottom layer control software,PC application software designs are completed to test the system. Compared tothe existing RFID reader, the complex procedures in product design can be significantly reduced. The system has the advantages of low cost of thetechnology development, easy to miniaturize the hardware systems and thesoftware development simply.
