RFID, saying the technology of radio frequency identification devices,is arapidly-developed technology since the21century. Using the theory ofelectromagnetic fields and electromagneti,the technology transfers the energy andcommunicates through inductive coupling antenna and the electronic tag.The RFIDtechnology has left a profound impact in the field of daily life.And it has now made abreakthrough and been widely used in some areas,such as highway toll system.Andthe production systems of workshop logistics.However,there are still somesignificant problems in current RFID system:the cost price of reader system is highlyexpensive while easy to be affected by the external environment, and can generates aplurality of collision between a plenty of reader-writers and the electronic tag readers.Therefore, how to improve RFID reader system has become a hot research spot inRFID technology recent years.In this thesis, the following work has been done:(1)it introduces the developinghistory and the project background of RFID technology, etc. In addition it describesthe research status of the technology at home and abroad,plus the introduction for theworking principle and structure of the RFID reader system.furthermore;(2)it gives adetailed description of the design of the software and processes within thesystem,and a key part of the communication protocol for the reader and memorystructures are studied.Then it comes up the improved reader data structure,improving the processing speed of the system data;(3) it discuss the electronic tagreader and anti-collision algorithm in the multi-reader RFID reader system.This thesis compares the frame slot collision algorithm and binary bitanti-collision,then proposes the improved algorithm of the frame slot,which is basedon the advantage of two algorithms.Besides it uses dynamic frame size, binary bitanti-collision algorithm in handling the collision slots.According to the simulationresults of the algorithm,the use of improved anti-collision algorithm frame slotsystem can be maintained at more than50%. And when handling a large number oftags it can reach more than65%.The improved frame slot algorithms is easy to beused in practical application with a simple structure.
