Digitization, intelligentization and networking of sensor is one of important development direction. With the title "Research of Intelligent Weighing Sensor Technlogy Based on IEEE1451", the thesis systematically studies the high-precision digital technology of load cell, Plug and Play technology and its implementation method, which has important academic value and practical significance in improving the standardization of intelligent load cell and metrology. This thesis is supported by Program for New Century Excellent Talents in University of Ministry of Education (NCET-08-0211), Industrial Research Program of Science and Technology Department of Guangdong Province (2008B010400043) and Industrial Liaison Program-of Zhuhai Technotogy Bureau(PC20082020).The thesis analyzes intelligent sensor technology, progress of load cell and IEEE1451 smart sensor interface standard at home and abroad. It aims at characteristics of current load cell, according to the two points of view such as high accuracy and plug-and-play, explained the significance of the study, puts forward design of intelligent load cell based on IEEE1451, develops intelligent weighing module and finally designs a intelligent weighing module monitoring software based on Visual Basic and result analysis software based on Matlab. The main work includes the following parts:①It creatively puts forward the overall load cell framework based on IEEE1451 intelligent sensor interface standard, analyses the working mechanism of intelligent load cell and implementation scheme systematically. It has general guiding value for the design of intelligent load cell;②It is established in the current remote calibration development trend and the problem to resolve, deeply analyzes the principle of high-precision digital technology, and puts forward the hardware design of taking C8051F350 for core. Designs intelligent algorithm which inherits advantage of various filtering algorithms to enhance the accuracy and stability of load cell;③Deeply analyzes constrain factors of sensor system, explains the reasons why they affect accuracy and takes appropriate solution according to Actual situation. Optimizes the key parameters of weighing system using orthogonal experiment to obtain the optimal configuration and improve performance of weighing system.④Systematically analyzes the Structure and configuration of TEDS according to IEEE1451, and designs Meta-TEDS and Channel-TEDS. Designs hardware of TII interface according to the principle of TII interface and puts forward the implementation process of hardware and software-driven, finally achieves the plug-and-play function.Analyzes the results of three Comparison test using the experiment analysis software based on Matlab, and verifies the feasibility and reliability of this design according to the specifications such as uncertainty, nonlinearity and ENOB etc. The results show that the experimental process and results meet the requirement of the expected design function and purpose. It has some characteristics such as high accuracy, PnP function.
