The main goal of this thesis is to achieve a highly scalable design concept in recent years, which is the smart sensor concept, this device (intelligent sensor) will help us better to use the information collected through the sensor or transducer, then apply different treatments and corrections on signals received, for this purpose we associate a temperature sensor to a DSP that we connect it via a serial port to a computer, in our work we will adopt the scheme of the standard IEEE1451 and follow its diagram. Using the Code Composer Studio V3.3 language and MATLAB software we will perform digitalization operation, filtering and some test about the threshold value transmitted from the sensor.This smart sensor system can be applied on such as embedded electronic systems to control its input and output parameters, in real time processing the intelligent sensor will also permit to the system to be always connected to a standard interface using a computer or a network.
