The Research And Application Of Paas-based SDP Platform

The Telecom operators existing business framework is based on the network for voice and exchange, which is not suitable for quick response to customers'needs, building and delivering comprehensive data services. To break through the bottleneck, the carriers need to make the business more open and convenient while developing towards NGN, so as to encourage more service providers (SP) and content providers (CP) to actively involve in the field of telecommunications value-added services. Meanwhile, they should take care of the current business so as to smoothly transit to NGN, which is the fundamental problem that NGN arrangement needs to solve. Therefore, software platform vendors and independent software vendors (ISV) find a new method: bringing in SOA concept and providing Service Delivery Platform (SDP) for the telecommunication industry. SDP is a business supporting system of telecommunication value-added services, which can help operators provide telecommunication value-added services quickly and flexibly.The main task of this essay is, through the research on the IMS and related technology, to build SDP of the telecommunication business, and to develop and analyze some related cases as well, in order to provide a customized solution for the telecom operators, based on the existing telecommunication developing platform which supports the Virtual Home Environment (VHE) mechanism. The platform supports telecom-type service creation environment (SCE) and service logic execution environment (SLEE), which is able to effectively accelerate the development of value-added services and provide abundant integrated services for customers. In addition, through the unified open business mode of Platform as a Service (PaaS), the platform is able to provide capacity opening towards the third party with standard interface and issue through PaaS service platform, and build outstanding business developing platform for value-added providers. It can take full advantage of several application and development groups like IT and network so as to enrich the catalogues of telecommunication value-added business and effectively improve users'experience.
