Traditional telecommunication application development needs familiarity ofbottom layer different networks and their complicated signal interaction, and isconfronted with the problem of multiplatform. Actually, with the fast development of IPand mobile applications, communication terminals are more and more intellectualized.How to integrate different networks (PSTN,Internet and mobile network) and enhancetheir use ratio to provide a variety of individualized service more quickly is an urgentaffair for the telecommunication development. The next generation network platformbased on Parlay/OSA is a hot topic of current research. In this article, based on distributed object technology (CORBA in the main) andParlay/OSA application generation method and system, especially those relating totelecommunication (including digital communication and mobile communication), aXML based describing and implementing method and system are presented in thisarticle. In this new application platform, the application and the transportation isperfectly separated, and the service generating environment is independent of serviceimplementation environment, which create an efficient way to simply, quickly andflexibly develop integrated intelligent telecommunication applications.
