Rendezvous and docking (RVD) is a necessary operational technology, and is also a key technology of the second step of China manned space engineering. spaceflight. Building rendezvous and docking simulation is the important way for studying rendezvous and docking technology. It is very necessary to measure and control of the objects' spatial attitude in the flight vehicle control. Therefore, not only the geometry shape and the position but also spatial attitude of the objects should be measured for measurement.By employing the development of the Rendezvous and docking simulation (RVDS) measurement system as the research background, the main work of this dissertation is to study the attitude measurements problem, and to develop a RVDS measurements system. The main achievements obtained in this dissertation are as follows.1. Development and present situation of the RVDS measurements system are summed and analyzed. Then the methods of advanced research and its significance in ways are proposed.2. The framework of RVDS measurements system is analyzed and designed.3. The realization of the hardware and control method was introduced in detail.4. The software of RVDS measurements system is realized.The dissertation is an essential part of the Chinese RVD simulation system. And the results obtained in this dissertation can be used for the studies on other types of industrial measuring systems. The author accomplishes the work relating to the software including analyzing the user's demand, designing all the algorithms, doing the total design of the software, debugging the system and so on.
