As the rapid development of the SoC and significant increase of the electronic system complexity, the requirement of real time verification at the design stage is becoming increasing crucial, however, the price of building verification platform for specific system is not only high cost but also long development cycle. A novel SoC software&hardware co-verification solution is proposed based on the related existing verification system technique. The results of co-simulation mode, vector mode and transactor mode test made on the platform indicated that its performance has achieved the advanced level compared with other global relevant products.The technical development of verification system has been introduced firstly in the thesis, the theory for the hardware structure are then provide, finally, the hardware system design will be demonstrated from three aspects:1. The design of software&hardware co-emulation verification system at PCB level, including the PCI interface board and the CSM board.2. The design and realization of the software&hardware communication system, which includes the PCI interface circuit, SCE-MI protocol and LVDS transmission system. The simulation system is the core for whole system, we adopt standard bus interface mode and multiple state machine co-design. Additionally, the control instructions for encode&decode state machine are discussed in detail.3. The reliability of hardware platform, the realization of the functions, the correctness of results, and additionally, the verification time for three verification mode are tested in actual system. Finally, the system is optimized.The system circuit designed first was verified via pre-simulation and post-simulation by PC simulation software, after which, the circuit was downloaded on FPGA for verification, which gives a good result that perfect meets the requirements of the protocol.
