Research And Implementation Of The JSP-based Highway Assets Appraisal And Management System

At present, the investment in transportation is increased by our country year by year. It is under such circumstances that our country's highway traffic is developing at an astonishing speed. our country's highway mileage has leapt into the front ranks of the world. As a result, new demands are put forward for highway asset maintenance. This JSP-based highway assets appraisal and management system has been developed in order to further improve the efficiency of highway assets maintenance.The developing model and architecture of a system is extremely important. the two points are analyzed from an overall situation in this paper. In order to keep up with the development of the internet technology, this system is developped by adopting the B/S model instead of the traditional C/S developing model;at the same time,we adopt the MVC structure to implement the coordination and cooperation of different functional modules so that a secure and stable running of the system is ensured as much as possible. In this way the new demands for highway asset maintenance in the age of the Internet will be satisfied.On determining the developing model and the system architecture, the establishment of the development environment, the concrete design and implementation of the system and the assessment of the system this paper are analyzed in this paper in detail.(1) Building a development environment.We choose Tomcat 6.0 as the web server, Eclipse 3.3 as the main developing tool, and Access 2003 as the database server. On the other hand, the popular Web graph and report technology are adopted in this system, and their development environment and configuration are also explained in detail in this paper.(2) Realizing the concrete design of the system.Users'business process of the system is derived from a series of demand analysis. First, essential database tables are set up according to the business process. Then the achievement process of different functional modules is demonstrated. Finally problems in the design of the system and their solving measures are expounded. Web graph and report generation module is emphatically introduced in this part, which is also the highlight of this research.(3) Assessing the system.This part centers on system security and software test.The highway assets appraisal and management system based on this research has the main features of security, platform-independence and scalability. It embodies the advantages of B/S developing model and has certain practical significance for highway assets maintenance.
