In recent years, with the continuous progress of the world's industrial level, the rapid development of science and technology will soon overwhelm the Earth, environmental protection has become a worldwide issue. Radioactive pollution is an important part of the modern industrial pollution, therefore, radiation environmental monitoring is an integral part of environmental monitoring. China's radiation environment monitoring began in the early 50s of last century, and developed in recent years. Along with the series of new policy supporting nuclear power and nuclear industries, it is urgent to improve the existing radiation monitoring network.However, traditional network monitoring has certain disadvantages, such as difficult wiring, high maintenance cost, and high operating cost. Based on this, the thesis proposed the application of GPRS data transmission technology in radiation environment monitoring system, which has a low-cost in maintenance and operation and no wiring problem. Radiation through the research of status in foreign environmental monitoring systems, it shows that industrial countries in Europe and America have already used the IMIS (Internet Management Information System) to release the environmental radiation data after the nuclear-leak crisis in the last century. As a latecomer, due to learn the advanced science technology and do our certain contribution to the world's enviromental protection, this thesis proposed the application of WEB database release in radiation monitoring system.Based on the research of the differences between domestic and international radiation environment monitoring, a new framework of data transfer and release was introduced. "Environmental Radiation Monitoring Network System Research", which is a research topic of China Radiation Protection Institute, proposed and implemented a control system with C/S (Client-Server) structure. Based on this, The thesis determined the design goals through the analysis of system demands Firstly, then combining the above two new technologies, with a new mode of C/S and B/S mixed, the feasibility of the application of GPRS and WEB technologie in radiation environment monitoring system was proposed and verified. And finally, by means of laboratory simulation, a simple prototype of radiation environment monitoring system was established successfully. The thesis conducted a focus on studies of the softwares and hardwares in data transmission part of the entire system and the server softwares of the monitoring center.The whole paper can be divided into three parts: the first part includes chapter 1,2, which mainly elaborated the topic-chosen background, current research, innovation of the paper and the basic theory, and so on; the second part includes chapter 3,4,5, Which firstly selected the most suitable system scheme from a variety group of design for the system demands, then described the software and hardware design of the GTU and PC in detail; The third part includes chapter 6,7, which conducted debuggings on the system and a summary to the entire design.The thesis only conducted a research for the data transmission in remote monitoring, and does not involve the selection of the detector and the measuring data processing. Therefore, this data source is simulated by microcontroller sending the stored data by timingly to instead of the front-end detector data. GPRS and the single chip microcontroller composed the DTU device of the remote detector. This paper detailedly described the external circuit of the GPRS module and the single chip microcontroller's softwares of controlling the GPRS module. The platform to run the monitoring center softwares is a conventional PC, the monitoring softwares can be divided into modules by its given task: data transfer, interface and network. These three parts are detailedly and separately introduced from assuming to implement.System design process are basicly completed in the laboratory. Hardware circuit design, which made reference to the classic reference circuit provided by the module production company, were partly improved. After several "problems" and "problem solving", the original software's stability and robustness are guaranteed. Monitoring center softwares were written entirely in C# because it has a good development environment and the multi-platform adaptivity, while the web publishing used .NET framework. System debugging was conducted successfully in the laboratory, finally, and the original assuming was implemented. And the following results were obtained: (1) through the comparison among various transmission and distribution schemes, a scheme which is suitable to environmental radiation monitoring system was selected, the improvement of data transmission in the system network was implemented, and the information distribution function was added to the system; (2) A GPRS external circuit and a SCM circuit were established; (3) the function of SMS alarm was added to the field monitoring unit; (4) all procedures in PC were programmed using C #; (5) the expected aim was basically completed, and a remote data acquisition and information dissemination system was successfully build up.
