At present, China has successfully held three national university students "Freescale Cup" smart car competition. In the smart car competition, the path to identify the strategy and the merits of the speed control strategy will directly affect the final results. If the smart car in the process of debugging and can understand the end-platform real-time information on each parameter, and then optimize the control strategy has become an important success factor.The work of this task is to design and achieve information collection of a state of the smart vehicle movement on the path and speed information, and analysis of relevant data to achieve the purpose of optimizing the control strategy. In this paper, the work will be introduced from two aspect, hardware and software.The Freescale MC9S12DG128 is choosed as a intelligent control chip on the smart carterminal platform, the CCD OV5116 camera as a single traffic information collection sensors. The speed sensor sensor is composed of grating encoder, Photodiode and LM2907 chip. At the same time, the down-machine programe is designed in the Code Warrior environment to collect camera's image, the speed of the smart car, to excute d A/D conversion and data transmission; the up-machine programe is designed in the C++builder environment to receive the information of the camera and speed sensor, display the image of camera capturing and the speed curve, amend the PID parameters.CRS's Bluetooth module chip DC219159BL is used to achive the communication between smart car platforms and end-users console.After the test the systerm, the result showed this system is stable,and the functions of collecting data displaying the picture,and amend PID parameters meet the system requirements. At the same time, the process of developing the application system data from the wireless transmission technology can be extended to the field of industrial control, medical care and other areas of the field,.It has a wide range of applications and economic value.
