With the rapid development of science and technology and social economy development level increase steadily, people life level requirement becomes higher, gradually transition from the traditional material comforts to the pursuit of convenient, comfortable life, the concept of smart home came into being. Due to the limitations of technical development, traditional household appliances can only make real-time operation within the scope of the family, the emergence of intelligent household remote control technology changed the traditional household life style in the true sense, which is the home technology development.Refer to implementation methods of instant communication field, this paper takes fridge temperature monitoring as the example, based on XMPP(Extensible Messaging and Presence Protocol) and SFCP (Smart Fridge Control Protocol) protocols, put forward smart fridge temperature remote monitoring and implementation plan. Implement the service access and the fridge temperature control function. Realize the remote monitoring of temperature.First of all. this paper explores the development of smart home background and development situation at home and abroad, analyzes the importance of the remote control technology of smart home. Then the related technologies are introduced, and compare and analyze the commonly used home wireless network protocols, determine the protocol which is used by system.Then, this paper analyzes the system requirements, detailed analyzes the function of fridge server and the mobile client requirements. At the same time compare the four mainstream remote instant messaging protocols, and determine the system development environment.Next, the detailed design of the system are introduced, including the design of overall architecture, server and specific design of client’s different modules. At the same time, this paper do the detailed analysis of the principle and framework of the XMPP protocol, reliability test is carried out for the SFCP.Finally, according to the design introduces the concrete realization of system, including realization methods of server and client module. In order to further verify the effectiveness of the system, do the system deployment and testing, including the integration test, stability test, power consumption test etc. Test results show that the reliability of the system can meet the needs of users and has strong practical value.
