File Management And License Distribution Of Digital Rights Management

With the rapid popularity of Internet, digital copyright protection is becoming more and more important. Digital Rights Management (DRM) mainly refers to protect and manage copyright of digital resources which in production, exchange, distribution and application, it is taken as a focus issue seriously nowadays.As there is not a perfect digital object identify to logo the multimedia resources which are on a large scale used in Internet. A set of DOI codes and analytical rules was designed for multimedia resources, and I applied it into the digital rights management system, which enriched the advantages of positioning and researching files. In this paper, the designed background management system includes file management subsystem and license distribution subsystem. These subsystems completed the following functions:encrypting and packaging files, setting using permissions of files, modifying files'infomation, processing DOI numbers, creating and distributing licenses, managing date and so on. File management subsystem mainly realized non-real-time encrypting and packaging based on the digital rights management requirements, in the process of which, users'permissions are the bases of licenses application. Besides, users can modify related information of the package files. Administrator can generate and analyze DOI numbers for different types of digital resources, and then he can make centralized managements for the forms, logs and others files of the background management system. License distribution subsystem creates and distributes license according to users'applications.Through the design and implement of file management and license distribution functions, the ability of protecting file copyright is improved, and the security of system is increased, which provides a new method for developing digital rights management.
