In recent years,with rapid increase of rich network resources,and the development of streaming media technology,the technology system for the protection of intellectual property rights of streaming media resources,which named as Streaming Media digital rights management system has been rapid developed. Streaming media which can play and download at the same time is become more popular with education,entertainment and other industries,but how to protect resources'safety and its intellectual property rights under the premise of its high real-time,is the core of streaming digital rights management system.Encryption is an important and indispensable part of the streaming digital rights management system,and is also the core of safety of the streaming resource. Because many manufacturers involve in the research of DRM,and use different standards,there are so many different DRM products that user need to install different DRM clients in their computer when they choose different manufacturers. It leads to the occupancy of resources and non-interoperability; therefore,designing a safe and interoperability digital rights management system of streaming media have more important theoretical study significance and practical value of social application.In this paper,the author researched and analyzed the streaming media transmission technology, streaming media encryption scheme and digital rights management technology system,including encryption,authentication,Right Expression Language (REL),such as description language.For the advantages and disadvantages of existing streaming media encryption scheme,the author proposed a new streaming media encryption scheme:AES-based Partial Encryption strategy.The strategy encrypts streaming media file using the AES algorithm which is designed to be simple.The basic idea is to slice stream media files to blocks and slice blocks to segments , and then choose some segments to be encrypted.This strategy not only protects the security of the file,it also not affect the real-time of streaming media.Using a single key to encrypt a stream media file,once the key is intercepted,the entire streaming media is no longer safe. In order to overcome the shortcoming,the strategy adopted different keys for encrypting different blocks respectively,which greatly enhance security of streaming media file. At the same time,owing to its high computational complexity and safty,public key cryptography is used to ensure the security of core and confidential data in the processes of user authentication,trust relationships between entities,the establishment of the session and the key distribution and transmission in the DRM system.In this paper,the author studied the interoperability of current DRM systems of concepts,classifications and methods. To realize interoperability,we need to address the issue of standardization,but there is still a long way to design interoperability of streaming media DRM systems.So we propose a basic model of DRM interoperability,and introduces a conversion mechanism of license into Streaming Media digital rights management system .It used to convert different license format into a neutral format,DRM client does not need to install a new plug-ins or equipments when License Server changed.Finally,the author realized a prototype DRM system based on the proposal,and tested in streaming media Courseware system of Chongqing University Distance Education College. Practice shows that the thesis proposed streaming media encryption,key distribution and interoperability is feasible,it ensures the real-time of streaming media,and also enhance copyright protection of resource.
