The packing machine which makes the teabag like a pyramid is the most advanced teabag packing machine of the world. The tea bag in the process of soaking and drinking can keep the same shape, and it is more conducive for tea leaching than the flat tea bags, can also pack bar shape of tea, therefore ait is more suitable for a variety of health-care tea packaging.It has been widely welcomed by consumers. Currently, only the company of Unilever in British has the patent of it ,and is lack of relevant design experience in domestic. This topic aims to design and develop cone three-dimensional tea bag packing machine,according to the market demand, which is a new type of integration equipment for tea bag forming, filling and packaging.Through analysing the shape of the pyramid--like teabag , the structure and actions of a trigonobalanus tapered molding for the teabag was designed in this paper, include the components such as saddle, side molds and frame. It applied UG to complete parts of the three-dimensional design, implemente its virtual assembly.The motion simulation of this packaging machine with the three-dimensional design software UG can not only verify the feasibility of the design but also analysis its motion situations to carry out the optimal design. It can shorten the development cycle, lower design and development costs, reduce the number of physical prototypes, improve product design quality.Based on the design of the Tri-cone tea bag forming mold, we replace some components to work out the structure and basic moves of quadri-cone teabag forming mold.
