Pillow packing machine is a device that packaging nubbly items with film , it has been widely applied in industries such as food, daily necessities, medicine Production industry and so on. With the demand for packaging increasingly diversified and personalized, the traditional packaging machine that mainly adopts the structure of differential gear box can't meet people's needs. Thus further analysis of the key components, the basic principles, structure and functional of pillow packaging machine to provide a simple and reliable structure, convenient operating, high degree of automation, wide range of application packaging machine is necessary.Based on the analysis of the packaging technology of pillow packaging machine and the using requirements, through the principal analysis of the key components, this paper offered a practical, simple, reliable and universal drive system, which uses a new structure form that can adjust the packing length and speed conveniently .this paper analyzed the key parts in details such as film feeding structure, mid-seem driving structure, cross-seem cutter structure. This paper also analyzed the compensatory principles and structure, offers a structure that can adapt the change of packing length and cross-cutting swivel continuously. The host electrical controller of this design of five-servos pillow-packing machine adopts Siemens SIMOTION D, and gives the scheme .This design has many stand out advantages, it uses lots of servos to replace the traditional gear apparatus greatly simplified the mechanism. The most significant is that adjusting the packing length and stands is very convenient, not necessary to change the mechanism.The design realized the five servo motors synchronous ,cam, speed, position control on the Siemens SIMOTIOND D motion control platform, by the way of Ethernet UDP realized communication between SIMOTION D and host computer, use of Siemens S7-200PLC through fuzzy control algorithm to achieve the sealing temperature control, and through the RS-485 communications with the host computer, on the MCGS configuration software platform to achieve the slave machine of real-time monitoring of machine status and parameters such as feature set, including parameter settings, slave machine status inquiries. Practice has proved that this design is reasonable, it can greatly enhance the production efficiency.
