In the process of the product exploitation,the application of virtual prototype technology will optimize the scheme of product design,shorten the periods and save the cost of the product exploitation, so the enterprise can win greate advantages in the market competition. The virtual prototype technology is a kind of 3D digital model, which is constructed by the application of digital design and computer simulation; and it is a kind of new method of digital design, which can simulate the capability and action of real product. Using the virtual prototype technology can simulate, test and evaluate the capability and action of the real product at different stages,in different aspects and needs, so that the real product can be replaced by the virtual prototype to achieve the success of product exploitation at one time.Aim at the disadvantage of existing means of the auto-packing machine design, and with the trait and advantage of the virtual prototype technology, this dissertation discusses the application of virtual prototype technology in the field of the auto-packing machine design. This dissertation includes following aspects:1. Study the structure of the auto-packing machine systemically, attach most importance to the creation and analysis of the virtual prototype, and sol the key technology of the virtual prototype of auto-packing machine.2. Complete the design and assembly of the virtual prototype of auto-packing machine, achieve the parameterized design of the auto-packing machine.3. Aim at special analysis, creat special virtual prototype system to prepare for the analysis of the dynamic simulation.4. Utilize the built special virtual prototype system to analyse the dynamic characteristic of the auto-packing machine system, discuss the effect of parameters to the capability of the auto-packing machine system, discuss other problems to this effect, and provide improved opinions according to the results of the analysis.
