The Design And Implementation Of Virtual Assembly And Motion Simulation System

As the rapid development of modern computer and computer graphics processing power, virtual assembly and motion simulation technology which is based on computer virtual reality develops rapidly. It can provide an effective reference data, analyze the rationality of the assembly to improve the assembly quality if we combine virtual reality and assembly technology, and give a performance analysis on mechanism motion simulation. Meanwhile, the application of the virtual assembly technology in the teaching process can largely help students to cognitive products, parts and virtual reasonable steps. It makes students master assembly technology easily.The subject does research on the performance of the current virtual assembly research, key technologies and virtual assembly system implementation. The main contents are as follows:An overview of the virtual assembly system is given which is based on the current research of the virtual assembly technology at home and abroad. It also describes the relationship between the various parts of the bodies and the information structure in the object’s point of view.The key technologies of the implementation of the virtual assembly system are studied, which includes a description of the parts location, the establishment of assembly constraints, collision detection algorithm, the implementation of the emulation movement etc.In the final part an example of Five-cylinder rotary engine is given which realizes the engine assembly simulation.
