Research On RFID Applied In Cigarette Warehouse Management System

Radio frequency identification (RFID) is a kind of non-contact recognition technology to obtain information about target through radio frequency signals.Basic data acquisition is an important work of cigarettes in warehouse management. Currently, most of the cigarette warehouse use bar code technology to manage the goods, the intelligence of it is still low. RFID reads and writes repeatly remote content of electronic tag, saves manpower and resources. The intelligence of RFID is well much higher than the application of bar code technology to reduce production costs for enterprises and improve economic efficiency.The method of unifing the RFID technology and the present bar code technology has been proposed in the cigarette warehouse management. It has been used to carry on the essential data excavation through the research of the system composition of RFID, the principle of work, the application superiority, the system classification, as well as the bar code technology.The system design goal and the flow chart have been proposed through the research of the working principle of the cigarette out of warehouse. In the hardware equipment, powerful DLC-6820C-type long-range reader and EPC tags have been selected.The EPC_Demo procedure has been developed by calling the reader-writer management function and the reader-writer tag operation function from SDK in the VC++ programming. It has realised the tag initialization, tag data been written and readed, locking tag and the destruction of tag according to communication protocol between the reader and the tag.The soft based on RFID has been developed by connectting the suitable database tables of cigarette warehouse management system successfully and using VC#.NET and SQL Server. In the programming, the cigarette bar code and the EPC tag datas have been associated by operating the backstage database. The soft has realised the functions including the display of RFID radio frequency ID and other information on a storage list, the mining of the cigarette out the storage of data mining, the summary of cigarette and inquiry of detailed statistical, inventory of sorting statistics through the DLC-6820C reader-writer to scan the EPC tag intelligently.
