Along with the flourishing development on business of design,advertisement design and comic and animation, people has increasingly requirement to simulation of artistic effect. After decades of development in computer art, simulation of western painting has got remarkable achievements, which already formed some mature simulation models and products. However, simulation study in oriental Chinese painting remains area of water-ink paintings. Therefore, it's so favorable to develop the tool of computer drawing in Chinese painting, which could convey plentiful color effect, for spreading key element in Chinese culture, enriching treatment measures in modern design area, comic and animation and game industry and promoting localization and characterization of creative industry.Half-Dry Stroke Effect is an particular technique of writing to increasing the sense of rhythm and visualizing the simple and unified artistic effect, comparing with heavy in ink and zhang-ink. Its filamentous white hollow-out in strokes is an indispensable effect in Chinese painting for the randomness in textural effect formed with material and technique, as well as a research issues in simulation of Chinese painting. At present, simulation area in Half-Dry Stroke Effect mainly focus on water-ink effect and method of texture mapping that has no tool of simulation of Half-Dry Stroke Effect based on multi-color Effect.This research mainly discusses the simulation of Multi-color Effect based on technique of writing and simulation of Half-Dry Stroke Effect based on technique of writing and technique of color-usage. At first, we establish stroke model based on completing simulation of Multi-color Effect on techniques of middle writing and side writing, then realizing the Multi-color Effect, whose technique of writing could follow the change of angle of inclination by intelligent detection for angle between brush and paper, very convenient and agile. On this bases, we make further simulation of Half-Dry Stroke Effect to realize combination of usage in brush, ink and color.The main work of this thesis is as follow:(1) Analyzing the classical effect of technique of side writing, summarizing features and influence factor and adopt two dimension stroke model and superposition of general strokes of different colors and offset along a certain distance, without the complex process of calculating the color in the stroke area point by point, which enhanced the running speed.(2) Aiming at the problem in rich color change from varied technique of writing, we develop intelligent writing model combined from technique of middle-brush and side-brush and then evolved into some other kinds of technique of writing by change in force, dimension and speed, which could realize the flexibly effect in brush technique.(3) Make deeply study in formation reason and type of effect in Half-Dry Stroke Effect, then yield the reaction of stroke split in the insufficient area according to the real time detection of ink volume, superpose a certain number of sub-stroke have identical model, which avoid the complexity of three dimensional modeling of brush.
