Analysis And Design Of In-service Education Sub-System In China Post Online University

China Post, coming through for centuries, has successfully completed the social functions of universal service under the tenacity of several generations.Relying on the spirit of hard-working and never slacking, as well as the will of mailing, the Post has already established a good brand image. In 2007, the government functions separated from the enterprise management, as a result, the reform of the postal service system was gradually deepened, at the same time, the specialization of competitive business was accelerated. Furthermore, under the impact of the international financial crisis and the domestic economic situation, the market competition in the postal area was intensified.In 2008,basing on the strategy of "transformation of the growth mode, creation of core competitiveness, sustainable development, establishment of learning enterprises, and enhancement of the personnel", China Post Group Corporation proposed that efforts should be made in educational training, thus building a contingent of high-quality, finally to strengthen the core competence of the enterprise.With the unceasing development of the Internet and multimedia technology, online education in enterprises emerges as time requires, bringing a new revolution to the field of education. Meanwhile, it ensures the training and promoting of the staff, moreover, online education provides new possibilities and opportunities for the development and expansion of the enterprises. The training based on the internet, sometimes being referred to as E-learning, E-training, or Web-Based Learning, is a new form of educational training which is brought about by the popularity and development of Internet.Based on the above situation, China Post Group Corporation constructed "China Post Online University", to meet the rapidly growing need for educational training in postal services, and finally to meet the requirements for the development of education and training.This thesis regards the "in-service education sub-system" as the research object, analyzes the needs of major business needs base on itself, and even gives the design programs of the project construction.This thesis concentrates on the detailed description from two aspects listed below.1.According to business needs proposed by business apartments, this thesis gives detailed needing analysis of the using of UML and the method of Object-Oriented Analysis, this forms a relatively complete model of business usecase;2.According business needs and its analysis, bases on the fully understanding of contemporary situation of technical development, this thesis proposes the software architecture and functional design of the in-service educational system in China Post Online University.
