With the continuous development of wireless cellular technology, mobile data services became more and more important part of the business. With 3rd generation mobile communication commercialization, user demands for bandwidth growing, which promotes the emergence of new technologies, became a problem of operators. That is why Femtocell proposed to solve this problem.Femtocell(also Home Node B) can greatly improve the indoor signal quality, speed up the deployment, reduce the investment, provide a better fixed-mobile convergence. Compared to the management needs of traditional cellular networks, Femtocell technology has unique demands, for example, requires a network auto-configuration, auto-optimize, fault location, and recovery functions.Standardiztion of the Home Node B is in progress, also is the management aspects of Femtocell. This thesis will focus on the network management of the Femtocell technology, and designs Femtocell OAM module based on CWMP protocol, in the background of Femtocell Standardization.The structure of the paper is as follows:In the beginning of this thesis describes an overview of the Femtocell technology and why Femtocell as well as the main work and structure. And tracked the standardization of Femtocell, gives an analysis of TR-069 in details. And the research of the network management and self-organizing demands.In the next sections, Based on TR-069 protocol, this thesis implements the protocol stack using open-source software gSOAP, according to the five parts of the OSI network management demands, analysed the Femtocell OAM processes demands, and achieved the goal of design and implementation of network management module.Furthermore, Proposed an automated testing scheme, and developed the test platform, fulfilled the demands of development and test for Femtocell network management.Finally, points out research contribution and significances, conclusions and future work are summarizedand.
