The Research And Application Of Femtocell Technology In LTE System

Femtocell is a small base station which is flexible in configurationcan and can beinstalled indoors。 Femtocell technology can solve the weak coverage problems of3G andLTE network signal in indoor,and provide signals of high quality throughout the entire familycoverage.This paper introduces the LTE network system，its key technology, the emegence anddevelopment of femtocell technology and its technical characteristics， then investigates thedevelopment of femtocell at home and abroad, summarizes and analyzes the evolutionaryprocess of femtocell technology from its proposal to its improvement.Then this paper proposes a design scheme of femtocell technology applied to smarthome system. The scheme integrates the nodes and gateways of smart home network in homebase stations, uses the functional characteristics that home base station can connect Internetand mobile network conveniently， to meet the high-speed and high real-time datacommunication requirements of modern smart home system and the external network. Thenthis paper uses S3C6410chip and FPGA to design and implement the remote access to thehome base station and the partial function of LTE system baseband signal processing.Finally, this paper analyzes the interference scenarios of heterogeneous network that iscomposed of femtocells and macro base stations，proposed a new method of frequency reusealgorithms to the conventional frequency reuse to assign different frequency resourcesusersfor femtocell users and macro network users in the region。 Matlab simulation results showthat the algorithm can reduce mutual interference effectively.
