Analysis And Design Of The Business Transaction Subsystem Of Shanghai Postal Direct Mail Business Management System

In order to improve the making and handling of Shanghai Postal Direct Mail Company, the Direct Mail Production Center is undergoing a project of reconstruction and expansion. As required by Shanghai Postal Company and with the aim to build a national class commercial letter center, the Information Bureau of Shanghai Postal Company undertakes the task of building a management system of shanghai postal direct mail business. By establishing such an info-system, it aims to automatize the production of direct mails, handle the information via network and manage the service scientificly. While doing so, it will bring into full play the innovative advantage of integrating the info-system with its actual operation and relative fasilities, further improving the efficiency and quality in producing the direct mails.This dissertation focuses on one of the subsystems of the direct mail management system, and features the analysis and design of the business transaction system. Through comparison and analysis, various subjects such as the systems's structure, the operating system, the database and the application server are discussed. Meanwhile, the developing tool for this project is also specified, which is the Loushang Platform in accordance with the J2EE specifications. Based on Unified Modeling Language and multi-system structure, this dissertation carries out analysis and produces designs of the business transaction system of direct mail. Also, the dissertation conducts research into the methodology of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, as well as the design and development means of Loushang Platform. With hope to substitute traditional manual method, this dissertation also explores the employment of IT in the production and management of postal direct mail.As a part of Shanghai postal information construction, this project realizes digital control over the name-and-address inquiry service and the direct mail business. In essence, the project attempts to use the information-based methods to manage, monitor and analyze the production so as to improve the produciton quality and support the business development effectively.
