Email direct marketing takes e-mail as a professional online marketing tool. It can maketimely and effective communication with customers by sending the enterprise productinformation in e-mail to the specified customers. At present, domestic and foreign e-maildirect marketing system of China is still in the stage of marketing automatic service platform,its technology trend has developed to the direction of integrated service platform. This systemneeds to improve the customer e-mail receiving rate. Therefore, it is imperative to build areliable, effective and safe mail distribution subsystem in e-mail direct marketing system.This paper is based on the studying issue of e-mail direct marketing system which Iparticipated in, study on the designing and implementing of the e-mail distribution subsystemis the main work in the issue. The paper firstly discusses the concept of e-mail directmarketing, basic principles, carrying out process, existing problems and the development ofe-mail distribution technology. The location and function of the mail distribution subsystem isdetermined by analyzing the service and function of the whole e-mail direct marketing system.The paper proposes the system architecture design, function structure design, interface design,distribution process design and database design after analyzing the distribution rules and thefunction of the mail distribution subsystem. Moreover, the mail distribution subsystem hasbeen achieved by using technologies like JAVA, Quartz, Active MQ, Java Mail, etc. At the end,two simulated test environments have been set up in the laboratory. Six rounds of thesimulation tests have been completed by using one distributing customer and formulating sixtasks, and the existing problems in the testing process have been consummated.Experimental result is in accordance with the technical specifications and functionalrequirements which are formulated in the studying issue. Mail distribution subsystem hasbecome an important guarantee of sending mails in e-mail direct marketing service platform. Itis a complex part of the entire system, plays a vital role of the delivery rate of the entire systemat the same time, promotes the development of e-mail direct marketing system to integration service platform.
