The core task of e-mail direct marketing system is to push email marketing operation andfeedback operation results in case that the customers are voluntary. However, traditionale-mail direct marketing used the e-mail which is provided by mail server, evolved just bychanging the original mail rules, facing problems such as personalized email is insufficient,can’t accurate statistical the situation of delivered e-mail; Easy be considered as junk mail,etc.For these issues, after analysis the general requirement of email direct marketing system,according to e-mail direct marketing business research results, the paper describes the designand implementation for the e-mail direct marketing system. Divide the system into SMTPmodule, management module and scheduling module, the author is responsible for the SMTPmodule and management module. Using B/S architecture model and J2EE related technologyrealized the management module, providing convenient and beautiful visual WEB platformfor users. On the basis of analyzing personalized information to users, establishedpersonalized email, unified management and classified for mailing lists, so as to achieveprecise positioning of target customers, sending personalized email. After analysis andresearch e-mail transmission mechanism as well as the relevant agreements, implements theSMTP module based on LINUX. By building the distributed email system to provide emailsending service, improved the mail delivery speed and reduced the email bounce rate.Statistics analysis of mail delivery situation and show the results to the users in the form ofstatistical graph and list for the marketers to make decision.Finally, in order to evaluate the marketing activities of delivered e-mail, the function andperformance of the system is tested. The results show that the system designed in this paper isachieved the design purpose.
