The flourish of automotive industry drives the automotive component market, and which requires the shorter project timing and the swift response to the customer's demand. However the traditional project management as CPM and PERT shows the weak points during implementation, but the Critical Chain Management (CCM) based on the Theory of Constraints (TOC) can resolve the bottleneck of the project scheduling management.TOC is proposed by Goldratt, a physical scientist from Israel based on OPT technology in 1987, which is to focus on the entire system to find out the constraints with Five Steps Methodology, and then deep dive the potential capability of the constraints. Critical Chain is invented by Goldratt after he had implemented TOC to project management, which can overcome the effect on the project timing by the uncertain factors, resource conflict, management levels and the factors of timing estimation protection. CCM is considered the idle characteristic of human beings and pays more attention to human resource inspiration, and it reflects the dynamic, flexible, active, systematical and high efficient characteristics.Based on the introduction of project scheduling management theory, this thesis discusses the affected factors of automotive navigation radio project scheduling management with the details, and it has figured out the constrained factors and direct factors with ISM technology which affected the automotive navigation radio project scheduling management. Then it introduces the product development process and project scheduling management of A company, and it is illustrated the navigation radio B project to discuss the mechanical design and development at length. It has been demonstrated the advantage of CCM for project scheduling management with the comparison of CPM and CCM implemented on B project.On the reason of analysis of long project lead time estimation, it is the first time in this thesis to point out that it is the important factor of the quantity of cross function departments related to the project. With the study of this thesis, it is attended to introduce CCM to automotive components product design project management, and it is trusted that CCM will play the more positive roles in automotive components industry with the continuous implementation and practice.
