During the 21st century, the competitions in the media root in the competitions for qualified personnel within this filed. The newspapers, on the forefront of the knowledge economics, must make innovations on the organization of human resources continuously, and in the same time improve man's initiatives and creativity in order to be competitive among all the competitors in the media. The newspapers in Xinjiang should take the human resources management into consideration at a macro-level, combining the use of advanced ideas on the human resources management abroad or at home with its own circumstances to work out a human-oriented management mode and put it into use. In this way, the newspapers can stand firmly among fierce competitions in the media.The present thesis made a study on the situation of human resources management in Xinjiang Daily and presented the coping strategies, adopting a combination of theoretical study and experimental study. Starting from the existing problems of human resources management in newspapers, the author conducted a comparative study between human resources management in Xinjiang Daily and other human resources management in newspapers abroad and at home. As the long-term development in newspapers is concerned, the coping strategies on human resources management in Xinjiang Daily are presented to contribute partly to the human resources management mode in Xinjiang Daily.
